Planning to visit a loved one with dementia? Take along a Nostalgia Kit from the Barrington Area Library.

The Bacoa Youth Board explored the "At the Beach" and "Root for the Home Team" kits.

Nostalgia Kit are designed to spark conversation and memory sharing for people living with Dementia. Each kit is themed and contains puzzles, AquaPaints, conversation cards, and physical objects to inspire reminiscence.

Bacoa’s A Day Out Adult Day Program is a social model program designed to provide a structured, engaging, and strength-based environment for people living with early-stage Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias.

We combine lively group discussions with music and movement therapy, chair yoga and meditation, art projects, pet therapy, and more.
