My bill to designate the Browning Road Bridge as the "Marine Corps Captain James R. Reese Memorial Bridge" will be heard in the Assembly Military and Veterans Affairs Committee on Thursday, October 22!

I recently visited Annapolis, home of the United States Naval Academy. While there, I got the chance to see our 5th District’s own and son of Runnemede, Midshipman 4th Class Sammy Spaulding.

I told him that I was proud of him and wished him all the best as Navy Wrestling season kicks off next month.

New Jersey Assemblyman Bill Moen is hoping to bring a statewide version of Dolly Parton's beloved Imagination Library to the Garden State. If passed, it would allow children under five who live in New Jersey to get one free book in the mail each month.

Earlier this week, I had the true pleasure of returning to my alma mater, Rowan University, to serve as a guest speaker in Dr. Ben Dworkin’s “NJ Politics” class. It was a really engaging group of students who asked a lot of great questions.

I wish them all the best in their future endeavors — and I reminded them that not too long ago, I sat in the same seats that they did as a student uncertain about my future.

Another scrap yard fire in New Jersey — this time in Paterson. Thankfully no one was hurt, but the impact is still felt when these fires burn.

There’s still more work to be done to reform our scrap metal industry in our state and I urge my legislative colleagues to continue to support these efforts to ensure we are in a better place to handle these fires going forward.

Congratulations to our Phillies for clinching their postseason berth with the final game of the regular season! Game 162 of 162.

The last week wasn’t pretty, but we are back in the playoffs for a 5th consecutive year.

Back to the State House today for an Assembly Voting Session, where I was glad to see four of my pieces of legislation gain approval of the full body of the General Assembly. They each received unanimous support as they advanced.
