At Barron Electric Cooperative, democracy is part of who we are. As a member-owned cooperative, our members have a voice in how we operate, including electing the directors who represent them. We believe every voice matters, and the right to vote is an important part of that process.

That’s why we were pleased to host a bipartisan legislative forum welcoming candidates from all parties running for elected positions within our service territory.

The forum focused on issues directly impacting the electric industry and gave Barron Electric employees and attendees from neighboring electric cooperatives an opportunity to ask questions of their own.

We appreciate everyone who participated and the opportunity to encourage open, bipartisan conversations about the issues that affect our cooperative, our members and the communities we serve. ⚡
