Lifelong Access was pleased to welcome Illinois State Representative Regan Deering and Chief of Staff Renee Radtke from the office of Illinois State Senator Sally Turner (R), during the 104th General Assembly (2025–2026), for a tour of the Lifelong Access Care Collective, a major community project currently under construction in downtown Bloomington.

The 65,000-square-foot historic building is being transformed into a central hub for individuals with disabilities, people with mental health needs, and families throughout McLean County and Central Illinois.

The Lifelong Access Care Collective will bring together a variety of services under one roof, including pediatric therapy, autism services, employment support, life skills training, and other programs designed to help individuals live more independent and fulfilling lives.

“We appreciated the opportunity to welcome Representative Deering and Chief of Staff Renee Radtke to share our vision for the Lifelong Access Care Collective,” said Karl Kopp, CEO of Lifelong Access. “This project is about more than a building. It is about creating opportunities, connecting people with the services they need, and strengthening our community for generations to come.”

The Lifelong Access Care Collective represents a significant investment in the future of Central Illinois, expanding access to services and creating new opportunities for individuals and families. Once completed, the facility is expected to serve approximately 700 people each day.

Lifelong Access is proud to be part of Bloomington’s continued growth and grateful for the opportunity to share this important project with state and community leaders.

Join us TOMORROW for our Autism Parent Support Group, a welcoming space for parents and caregivers to connect, share experiences, and learn from one another. Each session includes expert facilitation, childcare, and refreshments, all at no cost to families.

Our athletes brought their A-game to the Special Olympics bowling competition! 🎳

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM)! 💙💼

It is a time to recognize the many contributions people with disabilities make at work and in their communities.

At Lifelong Access, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to work, grow, and be part of their community. Our Supported Employment program helps people with disabilities find and keep a career of their choosing.

Our team provides job development and job facilitation, formerly known as job coaching. We help people build skills, find the right job, and be successful at work. We also work with our Behavioral Health Clinic to provide support that looks at the whole person.

Know someone who could benefit from Supported Employment? Please refer them to Lifelong Access. You could help someone take the next step toward a job, greater independence, and a stronger connection to their community.

Changes to Medicaid and SNAP may affect individuals and families. This webinar will explain what is changing, how these changes may affect your benefits, and what you can do to keep your benefits and avoid a loss of services.

- Changes to Medicaid and SNAP
- Who can get Medicaid and work rules that may apply
- Who may qualify for exceptions to work rules
- How to renew Medicaid and keep your coverage
- Changes to SNAP and how to protect your food benefits
- What to do if your benefits are reduced or stopped
- Time to ask questions and get answers

Welcome to Lifelong Access.

This video, shared at our 2026 A D’Vine Affair, gives you a look at who we are, the people we serve, and the difference we make every day.

For more than 70 years, Lifelong Access has been helping people with disabilities, mental health needs, or both live meaningful and fulfilling lives. Our work is about more than services. It is about people, families, friendships, opportunities, and making sure everyone has a place where they belong.

In this video, we shared the vision for the 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝟯𝟬𝟭 𝗪. 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗼𝗻. The historic building is currently under construction, and we are making progress toward opening before the start of the 2027–28 school year. When completed, we will bring many Lifelong Access services together under one roof and create new opportunities for children, adults, families, and the broader community.

What a wonderful evening at our annual Lifelong Access Pumpkin Patch Night! 🎃🍂

Thanks to the generous support of the McLean County 377 Board and Anonymous Trust, our pediatric families were able to enjoy this special evening at no cost and take home a pumpkin. We’re also grateful for the Books for Kids Grant, which allowed us to send children home with books of their own! 📚💜

A special thank you to Rader Family Farms for providing such a welcoming, inclusive space, and to our incredible Lifelong Access team, whose dedication makes moments like these, and the work we do every day, possible.
