🔥 FIRE PREVENTION WEEK: EVERY DROP MAKES A DIFFERENCE! 💧

Last week, a major mulch fire at Bobcat Woods took multiple days of hard work to bring under control. A huge THANK YOU to the Fairmount Township Fire Department for their dedication and tireless efforts in fighting this fire and protecting our community!

Did you know Consolidated Water District #1 provided 245,000 GALLONS of water through our fire hydrants to help fight the fire? That’s a whole lot of water making a big difference!

Our customers count on us for reliable water service, and that responsibility doesn’t stop during an emergency. Throughout the fire response, our water system-maintained pressure, allowing us to support firefighting efforts while continuing to deliver the dependable service our customers expect. We’re proud of our team and the role we play in keeping our community safe!

Our fire hydrants support more than emergency response. We also provide water for firefighter training with both the Fairmount Township Fire Department and the Lansing City Fire Department, helping their crews prepare for emergencies and protect our communities.

This Fire Prevention Week, we’re proud to do our part by keeping the water flowing when it matters most! 💧

Want to show your support for our local firefighters? Stop by their open houses this Saturday, October 10, and meet the people who work hard to keep our communities safe!

🚒 Fairmount Township Fire Department: 10 AM–2 PM

🚒 City of Lansing Fire Department: 1 PM–4 PM

Reliable water. Strong partnerships. A safer community.
