Sharing a great event being put on by RWJ Barnabas:

You will learn more about the various types of cancer (DCIS, ILC, triple negative etc.), the difference between ductal and lobular carcinomas versus sarcomas and lymphomas, risk factors, causes, diagnosis, treatment options and the role each of our practitioners plays in comprehensive cancer care. A healthy lunch will be served.

Ever wonder what a health educator does? This week, we’re celebrating health education at the Bernards Township Health Department and highlighting the important role our team plays in building healthier communities!

From promoting prevention and raising awareness to connecting residents with valuable health resources, we work to make health information accessible and empower individuals to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.

Follow along this week as we introduce our health educators, share what we do, and highlight the many ways health education makes a difference in our community!
