Our latest We Believe in BISD visit took us to the Bastrop County Juvenile Boot Camp/Alternative School, where we witnessed firsthand the power of hard work, accountability, and second chances.

Students are earning points through dedication, attention to detail, positive behavior, and demonstrated progress. Each point represents another step toward personal growth and a brighter future.

This school plays an important role in helping young individuals make positive course corrections, develop life skills, and recognize their potential. Sometimes, all it takes is the right guidance, structure, and someone who truly believes in you.

A special thank you to the incredible staff who show up every day with patience, compassion, and a genuine commitment to the future of these students. Your work may not always be in the spotlight, but the impact you make can last a lifetime.

At We Believe in BISD, we believe every student matters, every step forward counts, and every young person deserves the opportunity to succeed!

We Believe in Our Students. We Believe in Our Educators. We Believe in BISD!

The Bastrop Regional Chamber was honored to welcome new educators during the BISD New Teacher Academy on Wednesday!

Thanks to the generosity of our local businesses, each new teacher received a swag bag filled with community goodies and special offers. Our volunteers also had the opportunity to introduce the Chamber, share how we support local businesses, and highlight our We Believe in BISD initiative.

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and helped give our newest teachers a warm Bastrop welcome. We are excited to have you in our community and wish you an incredible first year! 💙🍎
