All of Independence County has been placed under a burn ban which prohibits outside burning till further notice. Violators could be issued citations that could result in a fine. Please don’t burn!

Bethesda and Ruddell Hill Fire Department have had a busy week!

Tuesday a structure fire was fought with the assistance of Batesville and Ruddell Hill firefighters. A total loss but thankfully no injuries. Our thoughts and prayers go to the family involved.

Thursday evening we were paged to a hay baler on fire, turning into a fully engulfed tractor fire. Upon arrival Ruddell Hill was paged for assistance due to the spread of the fast fire into hay field.
