What a night! We had a great evening connecting and building community at White River Health.

Thank you, White River Health, for hosting the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce’s Business After Hours on October 20 at the Josephine Raye Rogers Conference Center.

Chamber members caught up with familiar faces, heard updates from White River Health, and welcomed new physicians and providers to our community. We’re grateful for the opportunity to meet dedicated people and learn about the inspiring work that strengthens healthcare in the Batesville area.

Thank you to everyone who came out, and a special thanks to the White River Health team for your warm hospitality!

The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. to celebrate the grand opening of Putt & Porch, a new small business in Batesville offering a private venue for mini golf, gatherings, and celebrations. The ceremony will take place at 455 Gap Road in Batesville as part of an open house celebration for friends and family.

Operating under the tagline, “Your Private Place to Play, Gather, & Celebrate,” Putt & Porch brings a fresh recreational and gathering option to the Batesville community. Owned by CJ and Rusty Elumbaugh, the business is designed to bring people together for an afternoon or evening of mini golf and memories.

“Putt and Porch’s grand opening highlights the entrepreneurial spirit that helps rural communities grow and thrive,” stated Amanda Roberts, Membership Engagement Specialist with the Chamber. “Small businesses like Putt & Porch play an essential role in local economies by creating investment opportunities, spending within the community, and contributing to the unique character that makes Batesville so special,” Amanda added.

The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce welcomes Putt & Porch as a new business and celebrates its initiative to bring new opportunities to the local market. Community members are invited to join the Chamber in celebrating Putt & Porch’s grand opening and welcoming this new business to Batesville.
