Ms. Wood’s class recently took learning beyond the textbook with a hands-on Game of Life experience, and we were excited to invite Mr. Logan’s class to join us!
The Game of Life is more than a one-day activity in Ms. Wood’s classroom; it is part of the students’ daily routine. Students clock in and out of different stations, complete academic assignments and classroom jobs to earn money, and learn that choices have real consequences.
Students earn classroom money by completing work, helping others, and going above and beyond. Rule violations and missed responsibilities can result in deductions, teaching accountability and consequences.
🧹 Students are also responsible for cleaning their learning environment, completing assigned jobs, and assisting their peers.
Through these experiences, students practice responsibility, independence, money management, teamwork, time management, and workplace skills in a fun and meaningful way.
A special THANK YOU to rhe administrators and all staff members who assisted during this event! Your participation helped create an educational experience our students will remember.
