Today, the Batesville Area Resource Center (BARC) had the pleasure of hosting a tour for staff from Margaret Mary Health and members of the Batesville Ministerial Association! It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, share information, and highlight the many programs and services available right here in our community.

By increasing awareness of the resources available at BARC, we hope to strengthen connections, encourage referrals, and help more individuals and families find the support they need. The more we know about what’s available in our community, the better we can serve one another!

Curious about who calls BARC home? Our current tenants include:

• The 812
• Laughery Township Trustee
• Batesville Pregnancy Hotline
• Project T3
• Goodwill Nurse-Family Partnership
• One Community One Family
• Southeastern Indiana Economic Opportunity Corporation (SIEOC)
• So Loved Closet
• Batesville Food Pantry
• Southeast Indiana Health Center

The Salvation Army also provides support on-site!

So many resources, organizations, and opportunities to make a difference—all in one place!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the tour and to the organizations that make BARC such a valuable community resource.

BARC is here to serve our community. To learn more visit our website: www.batesvilleresourcecenter.com

Safe Passage, Inc. could use your support! How can you help?

Our Safe Passage shelter has recently experienced a high volume of individuals and families seeking safety and support. 💜

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we are able to keep our shelter stocked and ensure clients have nutritious meals while they work toward stability and independence.

With increased shelter needs, there are several items we are hoping to restock. Every donation, big or small, helps us continue providing help, healing, and hope to those we serve.

We are incredibly grateful for the continued generosity and support our community shows Safe Passage. Thank you for helping us care for those who need a safe place to turn. 💜

We invite our community to come together to remember, honor, and support one another.

This vigil will be a time to remember loved ones and community members we have lost to su***de and overdose, stand alongside those who have been impacted, and remind one another that hope, healing, and connection are possible.
