Why Westfaul? Wednesday:

Judge Jay Westfaul is a legal leader with over three decades of judicial experience- in fact, he’s the only candidate with any judicial experience.

Westfaul is a father, grandfather, Christian, church leader and a judge- he’s NOT another politician telling you what he “will do”, he’s presenting a record of what he’s done and will continue to do if elected.

Why Westfaul? Wednesday:

Child Custody

I currently serve as a Municipal Court Judge and for many years served as a Youth Court Judge and Special Master in Chancery.

Making the difficult decision as to which parent gains custody of a child affects families forever. These decisions rarely suit both parties, and the judge must be compassionate but firm — and always — above everything else — act in the best interests of the child.

I have always considered many factors when making custody decisions, including the moral fitness of the parents, which has the best parenting skills, the stability of the home environment, and which parent is more willing and able to care for the child among numerous others.

After three decades of serving as a Municipal Judge, I know how to run a courtroom. Experience matters. I urge you to inquire of those who know me well, and review my record before casting your vote. Many children’s futures will be determined by your next Chancery Judge. I’m the candidate with the most experience and best qualifications, and I humbly ask that you vote for Westfaul on November 3rd.

Earlier this week I had the privilege of administering the oath of office to Batesville’s new police chief, Barry Thompson. I look forward to working with him as judge to continue our commitment to serve and protect Batesville and this district. -Judge Jay Westfaul

This weekend was spent campaigning in Tutwiler, Webb, Glendora, Vance and Sumner. It was a little on the warm side, and I’m thankful for all of my new friends!

Westfaul Wednesday: Why Westfaul? Work.

The work ethic of Judge Westfaul is unmatched- whether it be in court serving constituents as judge or at his law practice serving clients (both of which he’s done for decades) or while campaigning for Chancery Court Judge- no one works harder than Judge Jay Westfaul.

Most recent evidence of such: Independence Day, when our team sought to celebrate our nation’s 250th in all counties throughout our large district- and we did it! Our campaign team covered 244 miles and enjoyed spending 10 hours in Water Valley, Coffeeville, Gore Springs, Grenada, Winona, Duck Hill, Carrollton, North Carrollton, Holcomb, Cascilla, Rosebloom, Tillatoba, Oakland, Enid, Pope, Batesville, Sardis, Como, Senatobia and Coldwater.

I’m thankful for all of the people we met and who said they would vote for me. Learn more, or join our efforts, at www.JayWestfaul.com
