FOUND

This kitty was found on County route 10 near the FLSPCA. A good samaritan has taken her in and gotten her needed care. Does anyone recognize or know if she had a home previously?

A video montage sample of just a few of our many adoptable kitties!
Please stop down to visit and potentially be chosen by a new furry family member!

Adoption applications can be found on our website or filled out in the office. We have half off the regular price of adoption packages this month as well!

Thanks to Simmons Rockwell Subaru in Big Flats for nominating us for this grant for the second year in a row. Help us find new forever homes for our animals!

It is with great reluctance we must announce that we are closing the shelter to new intakes of animals--both cats and dogs--until such time as we are able to experience a significant number of adoptions or transport to other shelters. We are over capacity for dogs and our cat population is nearly twice our capacity. Capacity for us is not just a vague number. Our legal capacity is now defined by law based on criteria including kennel square footage, staff resources. Please be on the lookout for adoption specials for the rest of October which we should be ready to announce on Monday. We thank everyone for their understanding and ask that you be patient with us. --Michael Hopkins, Executive Director
