Bath Township Police Department-Michigan Welcome to the official Bath Township Police Department page. These are lofty goals.
(1477)

The Vision of the Bath Township Police Department is to set the standard for how law enforcement is administered. We want every citizen to have the highest level of respect for the department as well as each and every person who comes in contact with the department. Our Vision is to be leaders in the law enforcement community and to be the yard-stick to which other departments are measured. In order to attain this vision we must constantly strive to be better tomorrow than we are today.

As part of his TEAM lessons, Officer Bailey and the Bath Township Fire Department - Michigan hosted a fire safety day at the Bath Elementary and the Bath Middle Schools. This included going over all the useful equipment in the fire trucks as well as a live demonstration inside of a fire safety trailer.

The kids got to crawl through the trailer filled with (safe) smoke so they could see what it could look like in an actual fire scenario.

Also part of the demonstration included lighting a T-Shirt on fire so the kids could see how a sprinkler system works and is activated.

Thank you to Bath Township Fire personnel Joe Hovey, Brett Bisalski, and Roger Dunham for your presentations! Also a big thank you to DeWitt Township Fire Department’s Chief Dekorte for letting us use his trailer!

Dang, we really got flying police vehicles before GTA 6.

I was surprised Chief approved the budget, but he said we had to keep up with Elon’s shenanigans.

I didn’t think I would need to make this request but here we are.

If we arrest you, we kindly ask that you do not pull your pants down and plop a log in our backseats while on the way to the jail.

We will make you clean it up with your own shirt. Jail trustees will also have to clean it up, and you are going to be staying with them for a few days. Might not be a smart idea to make your new roommates clean up your p**p. 💩

Anyway… thanks.

With candy prices higher than a suspect’s blood pressure during a traffic stop, we’ve had to make some budget-friendly changes to this year’s Trunk or Treat.

Instead of the usual favorites, we’ll be passing out N&N’s, 2 Musketeers, 50 Grand Bars, KitDogs, Rice-unkrispies, and Buttertoes. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation during this difficult time.

Deer season is here, Michigan! Remember, deer don't know the rules of the road, and they definitely don't care about your deductible.

This time of year, the bucks are chasing does and thinking with the wrong head…

Slow down, stay alert, and watch out for deer on the move!

Wanted to give Officer Cook (left) and K9 Indy (right) a huge shoutout!

Last night, the distinguished duo tracked down a stabbing suspect while assisting a local agency. The subject was ultimately taken into custody. Fantastic job fellas!!

For his reward, we made sure to let him play with his ball all morning. We made sure to give Indy some treats too.

We sure have gotten a lot of rain the last 24 hours! If you get caught in any flooding, grab a door and use it as a flotation device.

One door can hold two people.... Rose.

I guess one nice thing about gas being expensive is you don’t have to be at the pump very long, because after 40 seconds there’s nothing left in your account..
