Vote Nathan Rust for EBR School Board District 6.

Thank you to the East Baton Rouge Parish Republican Women for hosting their forum yesterday! It was great hearing from all the candidates, and sharing the reasons why I want to keep serving families on the EBRP school board.

Since joining the School Board in 2023, I have worked with our EBR school board members to right-size success for our students—we closed 9 failing schools, saving $6,000,000 annually that is invested back into classrooms where it belongs. I will continue to ensure that taxpayer dollars are spent wisely, and hold EBR schools accountable. Our students deserve the best schools in the state, without creating more burdens on local taxpayers.

Our mission to earn your vote is in full swing!
We visited with families in Shenandoah Estates and Woodlawn Estates throughout the weekend. I’m grateful for all of your support as well as the conversations I get to have discussing public education.. and the Saints and LSU games! 😄

Have a standout student? Have you seen one in our community?

I’m proud to receive an endorsement from the Republican Party of Louisiana!

Our public education system in EBRP is a critical part of our community’s success—giving families and students a hopeful, prosperous future starts with a foundation they can build upon.

I’m honored to have the endorsement of our great Mayor-President of East Baton Rouge Parish, Sid Edwards. The Mayor and his team’s support for our school system has been critical to our success, and I am grateful he continues to put his trust in me.

When your leaders are all rowing the same direction, wonderful progress can be made. We all look to his example for how Servant Leadership can transform a community!
