💦🔥 DID YOU KNOW? 🔥💦

It's time for another Did You Know? from Louisiana Fire Extinguisher!

Did you know that when one fire sprinkler activates, they DON'T all go off? 🤯

We've all seen it in the movies—a fire starts, one sprinkler activates, and suddenly the entire building is getting soaked!

🎬 Hollywood got this one wrong!

In most fire sprinkler systems, each sprinkler head operates independently. When the heat from a fire reaches a certain temperature, the sprinkler closest to the fire activates and releases water directly where it's needed.

💧 Only sprinklers exposed to enough heat will activate.

💧 Sprinklers respond to heat, NOT smoke.

💧 A properly maintained sprinkler system can help control a fire before it spreads, potentially saving lives and minimizing property damage.

And here's something else you may not know...

Louisiana Fire Extinguisher doesn't just service fire extinguishers! Our Sprinkler Department handles inspections, testing, maintenance, repairs, and installations of fire sprinkler systems.

🔥 Fire protection is about more than putting out fires—it's about being prepared before one starts!

🔥 DID YOU KNOW? 🔥

It's time for another Did You Know? from Louisiana Fire Extinguisher!

🍳 Did you know that commercial kitchen hood suppression systems are designed to automatically detect and help extinguish fires before they spread?

Commercial kitchens are full of potential fire hazards, especially when cooking with grease and high temperatures. That's where hood suppression systems come in!

When a fire activates the system, it can:

🔥 Automatically release a fire-suppressing agent over protected cooking equipment

🔥 Shut off the fuel or energy supply to the cooking equipment

🔥 Help prevent a small kitchen fire from becoming a major disaster

But here's something else you should know! 👀

Commercial kitchen hood suppression systems generally require professional inspections every six months to help ensure they're ready when needed.

At Louisiana Fire Extinguisher, Inc., our team handles inspections, maintenance and repairs of commercial kitchen hood suppression systems.

Because when things heat up in the kitchen, your fire protection shouldn't let you down! 🔥

🚨 DID YOU KNOW? 🚨

It’s time for this week’s Did You Know? from Louisiana Fire Extinguisher!

Did you know we offer fire alarm monitoring?

A fire alarm system can alert the people inside your building—but monitoring helps make sure the right people are notified when there’s an emergency, even when no one is there.

📡 With a monitored fire alarm system, signals from your system are transmitted to a monitoring center so the appropriate response can be initiated when needed.

Whether it’s the middle of the workday, overnight, a weekend or a holiday, your fire alarm system doesn’t take time off—and neither should its connection to help.

Already have a fire alarm system but need monitoring? Give us a call and let’s see how we can help.
