Way to go, Wildcats!

Students in Mr. Schultz’s Digital Storytelling II/III classes recently participated in the 2026 Hope Initiative PSA competition and brought home the 3rd place $500 prize!!! They created a powerful video focused on the dangers and consequences of substance use.

Students highlighted the importance of making healthy choices, overcoming challenges, and being your own “BOSS” by taking control of your future and choosing a drug-free life.

We are proud of our Wildcats for using their creativity and storytelling skills to share an important message with their peers and community!

Fall is in the air at CHS!

Our Community-Based Students teamed up with Helping Hands to get into the fall spirit! From festive activities to plenty of smiles, our Wildcats had a great time working together, celebrating the season, and making memories.

A little teamwork, a little fall fun, and a whole lot of Wildcat spirit!

A BIG thank you to Zoar Baptist Church for blessing our teachers with TWO snack baskets FULL of goodies!

As we head into the final stretch before fall break, this thoughtful surprise was the perfect pick-me-up for our Wildcats in the classroom.

We are so grateful for community partners who continue to show up and support our teachers and staff. Thank you, Zoar Baptist Church, for thinking of us!

As we head deeper into October, we’re looking back at a special moment from earlier this fall when we surprised Mighty Moms Central with a $1,500 check to help support students in our community!

Mighty Moms works to fight food insecurity in our community, and CHS is proud to partner with them to provide food bags for students. Through the Wildcat Care Closet, students can also receive personal hygiene items to help meet their everyday needs. HUGE shout out to our on campus coordinators, Mrs. Sittig and Mrs. Williams, thank you!!!

If you or a loved one is in need of assistance, please reach out to your grade-level counselor for more information.

We are grateful for community partners like Mighty Moms who help us take care of our Wildcats.
