The Louisiana Ambulance Alliance is thinking of our neighbors across the southern states as Hurricane Isaias makes landfall this weekend.

To all of the first responders who are preparing to work through the storm, thank you for being ready to step in when your communities need you most. We know the days ahead may bring long hours under challenging conditions, but your willingness to answer the call truly makes a difference and does not go unnoticed.

For those preparing for the storm, keep up with local weather alerts and emergency information; have emergency essentials, medications and important documents easily accessible; follow local guidance; and avoid flooded roads. If you are told to evacuate, leave when directed and follow recommended routes.

From all of us at LAA, we wish everyone a safe response and a safe journey home.

On September 11, 2001, thousands of lives were changed forever. Among those who made the ultimate sacrifice were firefighters, paramedics, EMTs, police officers, and other first responders who ran toward the danger to help others.

Today, we pause to remember every life lost and every family forever changed by that day. We remember. We honor. We will never forget. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
