Great news for our district! Following a review of our data, Bauxite High School‘s official state letter grade has officially been updated to a “C.” Check out their post below!

After a thorough review of our school's letter grade, recently released by the Arkansas Department of Education, Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), we requested a review of our data.

We are proud to share that after completing its analysis, the state has officially increased our high school's letter grade to a C. This progress is a direct result of our commitment to accurate reporting and the hard work of our students, teachers, and staff!

Looking ahead, it is our goal to continue improving our letter grade through the dedicated hard work and commitment of our teachers, staff, and students.

⭐️Celebrating Teachers & Staff!⭐️

Last year, our district dedicated funds to reward teachers and staff for student achievement and growth, and today we got to celebrate!

✨We are excited to share that all teachers and staff at Bauxite Middle School earned a stipend for achieving “A” school status!

✨All teachers and staff at Miner Academy and district personnel earned a stipend for achieving “B” status!

✨Individual teachers at Pine Haven Elementary and Bauxite High School earned stipends for their students’ outstanding achievement and growth!

Thank you to all our staff members for their hard work and commitment to our students. We will continue to grow and improve student outcomes at Bauxite School District!

Our thoughts, love, and deepest sympathies are with Gunner’s family, friends, teammates, classmates, teachers, and all who knew and loved him during this incredibly difficult time. As we mourn together, we ask our school community to surround one another with kindness, compassion, and strength in the days ahead.
🖤 Once a Miner, always a Miner. 🖤

With heavy hearts, we share the loss of one of our students, Gunner Frazier. Gunner was a senior and a member of our baseball team, and his loss is deeply felt throughout our entire school community.
Our thoughts, love, and deepest sympathies are with Gunner’s family, friends, teammates, classmates, teachers, and all who knew and loved him during this incredibly difficult time.
Members of our counseling team and support staff will be available on campus Tuesday morning for any students, faculty, or staff who need comfort, support, or simply a safe space to grieve. Please do not hesitate to reach out.

Several high schoolers joined Mr. Donaghy for “Slices with the Superintendent,” a time for pizza and great conversation!
Mr. Donaghy launched this monthly lunch to make sure student voices and ideas are always heard. He is looking forward to visiting with students from one of our campuses each month.
