We had a few pints of ice cream left over from our fundraiser on Saturday that we have put into containers and froze.

We are selling them for $5 apiece if anyone is interested. You can reach out here or stop by Bonlee fire department before 4 o’clock.

Thank you so much to everyone who came and supported Bonlee Fire today. Although it wasn’t the day we had planned for, we made the best out of it. We really enjoyed spending the day serving ice cream to our friends in the community!

📢 PUBLIC MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT 🚒

Bonlee Fire Department will hold its Annual Public Meeting on Monday, October 12, at 7:00 PM at Station 6.

Residents of the Bonlee Fire District who are 18 years of age or older are encouraged to attend and take part in this important community meeting.

Your involvement and support help us continue serving our community and protecting the residents of our fire district.

We hope to see you there!

Our hearts are heavy this morning as we stand with our Brothers and Sisters of the Durham Fire Department. 💔🚒

We ask that everyone join us in lifting them up in prayer. Lord, please wrap Your loving arms around the family of the fallen firefighter, the injured firefighter(s), their fellow firefighters, the companies working on scene, and the Command Staff.

Give them strength, comfort, protection, and peace as they navigate this heartbreaking situation.

🚒🔥 OCTOBER IS FIRE PREVENTION MONTH! 🔥🚒

This October, Bonlee Fire Department is joining fire departments across the country in reminding our community that fire safety starts at home.

A few minutes today could make all the difference tomorrow. ❤️

🏠 This month, take time to:
• Test your smoke alarms and replace batteries if needed
• Make sure there is a working smoke alarm on every level of your home and near sleeping areas
• Create and practice a family fire escape plan
• Know two ways out of every room when possible
• Choose a safe meeting place outside your home
• Teach children to GET LOW and GO if they see smoke
• Talk to your kids about never hiding from firefighters
• Keep space around heaters, candles, and other heat sources clear
• Never leave cooking unattended

🔥 Remember: You may only have a few minutes to escape a home fire.

Don’t wait for an emergency to find out if your family knows what to do.

Check your alarms. Make your plan. Practice your plan.
