Beattyville Main Street aka: The Downtown Beattyville Alliance is a certified Kentucky Main Street Program. Our Main Street is our image.

WHY do we feel downtown Beattyville important and WHY the need for the revitalization strategy?
“Because our downtown is the heart of our city, and having a healthy heart is essential to having a strong city and community. It tells visitors WHO WE ARE. It is also vital to economic development, as a well-kept Main Street can attract new businesses. This is why our organization whose mission is revitalization and economic development is very important and why we work so hard to promote our downtown and bring awareness to our activities”.

🐾 A little schedule update from Herman’s Brew! ☕

We’ve had a little shuffle in our crew, so Herman is taking a couple of extra snooze days! 😴

For the next few weeks, we’ll be closed Mondays and Thursdays while we train some new team members.

We want to make sure every cup, every bite, and every visit is still top-notch! ❤️

🎃 Herman says… 👻

Trick-or-treaters, we’ve got a little treat for you! 🍫

We’ll have FREE hot chocolate for the kids during the Main Street Trick-or-Treat event, AND we’ll be handing out candy! 🍬

So bundle up, bring those little goblins by, and let Herman help keep everyone warm while you fill those candy bags!

In 1872, Beattyville was incorporated where the North and South Forks meet to form the Kentucky River.

Steamboats came up to the town, near the head of navigation, and coal and timber went downriver.

On Nov. 6, Beattyville Main Street hosts the Kentucky Coal Heritage Trail Regional Summit at Herman's Brew.

Great job Magnify Productions 👏

This year, we wanted to bring something special to our community. We partnered with our friends at Magnify Productions to redesign the main-stage experience for performers and attendees alike.

From staging and a custom banner kit to festival sound and an LED wall provided in partnership with PROVISION AV, they brought the whole package together to create a top-tier atmosphere right here in our hometown.

The result was a main stage that celebrated our performers, showcased our sponsors and merchandise, and gave us new ways to share announcements and important safety information—all while creating a welcoming place to gather and enjoy the festival.

On behalf of the Lee County Woolly Worm Festival Committee, thank you, Magnify Productions and PROVISION AV, for bringing fresh ideas to a tradition we love and helping us create an experience our community could be proud of!
