🍕🍦 8th grade students who "went RETRO" during the first quarter were rewarded with a pizza and ice cream celebration today! By demonstrating Respect, Effort, Teamwork, Responsibility, and Optimism, these students met their goals and helped contribute to our schoolwide success. Thank you for helping make LIMS a great place to learn and grow. ✨

From November 16-20, Lady's Island Middle School students will participate in the Winter i-Ready Diagnostic Assessment in Reading and Mathematics. These assessments help us celebrate student growth and identify the support needed for continued success.

Families, please help students be prepared by arriving on time, bringing a fully charged device, getting a good night's sleep, and giving their best effort. 🐾💙

A special congratulations to two of our 7th grade students who were recognized during today’s awards ceremony for an incredible academic achievement on the Spring 2026 SC READY assessments. Sawyer earned a perfect score in Science, and Aiden earned a perfect score in ELA. We are so proud of our Cougars! 🐾❤️💙

🎃 Show your Halloween spirit this Friday, October 30 during our Halloween Dress Down Day! For $2, students can wear crazy Halloween socks, a Halloween shirt, and jeans with no holes. 👻

🚫 Please note: Costumes and masks are not permitted.

Families are invited to enjoy lunch with their child on Thursday, November 19. We look forward to sharing a meal and celebrating the season of gratitude with our school community. Visitor meals are $10, and all guests must sign in at the Front Office.

Today, Lady's Island Middle School partnered with the Lowcountry Food Bank to provide free fresh produce to local families. Thank you to the Lowcountry Food Bank, our staff, community partners, and student volunteers for helping make this event a success. We are proud to support our community and grateful for the opportunity to help connect families with healthy food options. 🍎🥦
