“I can’t get involved because I’m not 18” ❌
A common misconception is that young people who aren’t the minimum of 18 years cannot get involved in the electoral process. This is not true! If you’re 16 and enrolled in high school, you can get involved as a Student Election Clerk.
You can:

✅ Learn more about the voting process
✅ Start building your resume

I just joined the Young Democrats of America in demanding that Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt take immediate action to accept the recommendation of the Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board to commute Julius Jones’s sentence to life in prison with the possibility of parole.
