The Jefferson County Democratic Party mourns the loss of Michael Therrien. Michael was a longtime Democratic activist, campaign worker, and passionate advocate for the issues that mattered most to him, including the welfare of our military veterans, fair treatment of LGBTQ individuals, labor protections, and civic engagement. He served our nation honorably in the United States Navy and was a talented local artist whose work reflected a deep appreciation for both the human form and the beauty of nature.
We extend our condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew him. He will be remembered for his dedication to public service, his advocacy, and the impact he made in our community.
Michael is pictured here with former Jefferson County Democratic Party Chairman Gilbert Adams.
