This Friday, 5/29/26 at 10am is the New Volunteer Orientation and Tour at the Special Projects building at 1240 McFaddin.

This Monday and Tuesday, 6/1/26-6/2/26 from 9am-2pm is the registration for Back to School. For more details, see our pinned post on the page!

Summer Feeding Sites 2026

​School is out, but healthy meals are still on the menu! Check out BISD's updated Monday–Thursday summer feeding schedule to find a location near you. All kids and teens eat free—no registration required. See the flyer below for full details and times!

Some Other Place was chosen again this year to receive a donation from the Raba Kistner Charitable Foundation.

​This gift came straight from funds raised by their local Beaumont employees over the past year. We got to meet up with them today to officially receive the check, and honestly, we are just so incredibly grateful.

​A huge thank you to Sandi and the entire local Raba Kistner team. When they say "Build A Better World," they are absolutely doing exactly that right here in our community. This support means the world to us and allows us to keep doing the work we do every day.

Yesterday, St St. Mark's Episcopal Church - Beaumont, TX awarded $95,000 to 19 organizations which included Some Other Place and Henry's Place. What a difference the people of St. Mark's makes in SETX. Thank you for supporting the good in our community!
