TRAFFIC SWITCH UPDATE
Work on the new traffic switch along the I‑10 EB frontage road between Laurel Ave. and 11th St. is almost finished.
Drivers are urged to slow down, stay alert, and follow all traffic laws while crews complete the final stages.

Beginning Monday, June 8, the contractor for the US 90 / UPRR Project will implement a new traffic switch.

🚧BEAUMONT TRAFFIC ALERT🚧
The US 69 SB (Port Arthur exit) from I-10 WB will be closed tonight (6/5) from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Contractors will be repairing the crash cushion. Please use an alternate route.

Parts of Southeast Texas are experiencing rain, with more expected in the coming days.
Make sure to use your wipers, drive to conditions, turn on your headlights, and remember to turn around, don’t drown.

At today’s press conference, leadership from the TxDOT Beaumont District joined state and local law enforcement and first responders to emphasize the critical importance of wearing a seatbelt.

Wearing your seat belt can save you from serious injury.
It can also save you $200 in fines.


Officers across Texas will be stepping up enforcement of seat belt laws from May 18 through May 31. Make sure to buckle up.

🚧JEFFERSON COUNTY TRAFFIC ALERT🚧
The outside lane of I 10 EB from Brush Island Rd. to Hamshire Rd. will be closed on Fri., May 29th, 2026, from 8am to 4pm. Contractors will be pouring concrete near the Hamshire Rd. exit ramp. Please use an alternate route and expect delays.

🚨JEFFERSON COUNTY TRAFFIC ALERT🚨
