HHSC staff will provide an overview of what a Medicaid waiver is, what waiver programs we have in Texas, including information about eligibility, how to get added to the interest list, and what the different waiver programs cover.

Who is eligible to apply?

Parents, guardians, or legal representatives can apply on behalf of someone with a disability who benefits from using accessible switches for play.

If you’re unsure whether a toy would be helpful, ask your child’s therapist or special education professional.

The number of toys we can provide each year depends on the generous support we receive from donors.

Toy registrations open October 15, 2025, for one week only.
