🍂 What a beautiful weekend in Erie! We had an incredible weekend filled with education, connection, and community as we welcomed families from across our region for both our New Parent Network and Fall Program!
On Friday evening, our New Parent Network brought families together for a special program focused on belonging while recognizing that every family’s bleeding disorder journey is unique. We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us for an evening of meaningful conversations, education, and connection. Thank you to Kathaleen Schnur, Social Worker at the Hemophilia Center of Western PA, for bringing this incredible program to our families and creating such a welcoming space for connection.

The following day, we welcomed even more families to Erie for our Fall Program, featuring an educational session on clinical research and its role in the future of bleeding disorder care. Presented by Dana Ivanco, CCRC, Sr. Clinical Research Coordinator at the Hemophilia Center of Western PA, the session gave participants an inside look at the clinical research process, including research terms, study phases, participant protections, and the importance of clinical studies in advancing treatment options and improving quality of life. 🔬
Following the program, families received tickets to enjoy the rest of the day at Splash Lagoon! 🌊
