Beaverton City Government For more information about the city of Beaverton, please visit http://www.beavertonoregon.gov/. Located in the heart of the Tualatin Valley, midway between Mt.

Hood and the Oregon coast, Beaverton combines the best of a big city and the peaceful surroundings of a small town. Just seven miles west of downtown Portland, Beaverton is Oregon’s sixth largest city and the second-largest incorporated city in Washington County. Beaverton is home to nearly 100,000 people of all ages and backgrounds. One in three residents identify as a person of color, roughly 20 percent were born outside of the U.S., and more than 100 languages are spoken in the Beaverton School District. This richness of cultural diversity is what makes Beaverton such a vibrant city. Disclaimer Statement:

Curious how Beaverton evaluates street conditions?

The Beaverton Streets Initiative uses the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) to measure how well each street is holding up and identify the right maintenance at the right time.

Most city streets fall between 65 and 74 on the 100‑point PCI scale. Early preservation saves money, while delayed repairs lead to bigger, more expensive fixes.

From Excellent (PCI 90–100) to Failed (PCI 0–24), PCI ratings help guide everything from routine maintenance to full pavement replacements.

Explore the interactive PCI map and follow project updates at www.BeavertonOregon.gov/StreetsInitiative
