The National Office of Primary Care visited Beckley to recognize our team's exceptional accomplishments in delivering high-quality care to Veterans. Four employees received challenge coins in recognition of their outstanding contributions, and Dr. Toni Muncy, Chief of Primary Care, was recognized for her leadership and dedication. We are proud of our team's commitment to excellence and service to our Veterans!

Do you find satisfaction in spending time on the road while making a difference for Veterans?

The Beckley VA Medical Center is seeking volunteers to serve as drivers during this important time.
Many of the Veterans in our region are aging and unable to drive themselves. Some don’t have family nearby or live in rural areas without access to public transportation.

These Veterans depend on our Disabled American Veteran volunteer drivers to reach their vital medical appointments.
On average, our drivers help transport Veterans to about 550 appointments each month.

Volunteers are needed in all counties we serve, including Clay, Fayette, Greenbrier, McDowell, Mercer, Monroe, Nicholas, Pocahontas, Raleigh, Summers, and Wyoming.
This is a meaningful way to make a positive impact in a Veteran’s life by donating your safe driving skills and time.

Please note a background check is required, and DAV vehicles are provided.
