Hate to lose this business. The owner was kind, and it was a great spot for a quick meeting or to catch up with a friend. Sad to see Coffee, Tea and Books go.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Bedford. ❤️☕🫖📚
Over two and a half years ago, I opened Coffee Tea & Books with a simple dream: to create a place where people could come together, connect, work, study, share a conversation, meet new friends, and feel like they belonged. I wanted it to be more than just a coffee shop. I wanted it to be a part of our community.
In the time we’ve been open, you’ve helped make that dream real. You’ve brought your families, met your friends, celebrated special moments, attended events, joined book clubs, and made this little shop a place filled with so many beautiful memories. Every visit, every kind word, every share, and every bit of support has meant more to me than you know.
As things became more difficult, I kept fighting to keep Coffee Tea & Books open. I knew how much this place meant to so many of you, and I wanted our community to continue having a place to gather, work, read, and connect. I held on for as long as I could because I truly believed in what we were building together.
Sometimes, no matter how much you care or how hard you work, things don’t always turn out the way you hoped. The odds were tougher than I could manage, and that is a difficult reality to accept. I wish things had turned out differently, but I’m proud of what Coffee Tea & Books has been and what we’ve shared together.
Keep showing up for small businesses. ❤️
Our community has so many wonderful local businesses owned by people who pour their hearts, time, savings, and dreams into what they do. Behind every small business is a person or a family working hard to make it work. Your support matters more than you may realize. Choosing a local shop or even simply telling a friend about a business can make a real difference.
Support the places you want to see stick around. These businesses are more than storefronts they help give our community its character, bring people together, and make our neighborhoods feel like home.
To everyone who has been part of the Coffee Tea & Books journey, thank you for giving me the opportunity to be part of your lives and for allowing me to be part of this community. I may not have been able to keep the doors open the way I’d hoped, but I will always be grateful for the people, friendships, conversations, and memories that came from this journey.
Coffee Tea & Books was built on community, and no matter what happens next, I will always be thankful for the community that helped bring it to life.
With love and gratitude,
Thank you, Bedford. ❤️☕🫖📚
