As it FINALLY starts to cool off a little, let's take a look at another one of our city parks, Edgewood Park! 🛝

Edgewood Park, located at 205 Westwood Dr, was built in 2007 with the help of some generous organizations in our community. This park is home to a full-size playground, an open field with endless possibilities, and a basketball court right off 16th St that you can't miss! 🏀🌳

We also heard this is our Recreation Director's childhood park, so it holds a special place in his heart... we'd love to hear everyone else's favorite memory at Edgewood! 🏞️

-The bus will leave the Parks Department at 7:30AM and leave the festival to head home at 3PM.
-Minimum of 4 people and maximum of 14 to make the trip happen.

Just a reminder that our Fall Break Fun Day is NEXT WEEK! Make sure to stop by Thornton Park on Thursday, October 15th from 10AM - 2PM for our annual Fall Break Fun Day! 🍂

This is a completely FREE event that we put on every year to try and give kids something to do while they're home for Fall Break.

Located at the Thornton Park Pavilion, we will have food, music, and plenty of activities to take part in. This is a great day to get together with different vendors and people from the community, so make sure not to miss it! 🍁🌭

Join us on Tuesday, October 13th as we take a trip to Parke County, IN to the Covered Bridge Festival! We will be visiting the Bridgeton location.🌁

-$15/person

❄️WINTER SPORTS REGISTRATION❄️

We are now accepting sign-ups for our Winter sports leagues! We will have Basketball, Women's and Coed Volleyball, as well as an Indoor Pickleball open gym on Wednesday nights. 🏀🏐🏓
