New equipment gets photographed. New buildings get ribbon cuttings. But much of the real business growth happens quietly: someone learns a new skill, a supervisor gets room to lead, an employee sees a path forward.

That’s workforce development too.

Bedford County companies that keep investing in people are building the kind of workforce that can grow with them.

A business is only as strong as the people who run it.

In Bedford County, PA, we get the opportunity without a lot of the scary stuff that comes with bigger metro areas.

Shorter commutes, room for businesses to grow, and career opportunities close to home.
Housing? Yeah. That one’s real. And we’re working on it.

We’ll keep the horror stories to Fall Foliage dinner reservations when we can. 👻

Kettle corn, live music on the gazebo, pony rides, face paint, and more local makers than you can visit in one day.

Some things don't change, and we're glad. Fall Foliage kicks off this weekend in downtown Bedford. Come hungry, leave extra time, and buy something local.

The Tiltrock Loop is getting national attention!

This new 300-mile route connects trails through Pennsylvania and Maryland, with Everett as its recommended start and finish. Now Backpacker Magazine is sharing the story behind it!

The idea started with local hiker Mike Teeter and grew through the work of the Bedford County Outdoor Recreation Alliance, Discover Bedford County, and partners across the Great Eastern Trail, Mid State Trail, TUSCARORA TRAIL, Standing Stone Trail, and C&O Canal. Purple Lizard Maps created the official map to help hikers plan their route
