Today we had our first assembly of the school year and it was great!! The assembly was directed by Alexia Michitti who is a trailblazing motivational speaker and professional athlete, who was born without her right hand. She’s also the founder of EM13RACE—an adaptive clothing brand designed for individuals with limb differences. As the first-ever recipient of the Golden Glove at the Women’s Amputee World Cup, Alexia has redefined what it means to overcome adversity.
Born with a limb difference, she has turned what many see as a challenge into her superpower—using her platform to advocate for inclusion, innovation, and self-empowerment. From the soccer field to the stage, Alexia inspires audiences of all ages with her story of grit, growth, and grace.
She also recently published a children’s book which is available on Amazon. We have attached the link in case anyone wants to support her new project!
