Mrs. Young and Mrs. Conklin’s Class put on their chef hats last week as they kicked off their Procedural Writing Unit by making their very own pepperoni pizzas! 🍕🍕

Our Cubs talked through each step of the process, from start to finish, and then put their writing skills to work by recording the steps in their writing journals! 📝📝

This year, we’re celebrating with the national theme, “Make A Difference. Be a Hero. Stay Drug Free!” It’s a great reminder that every choice we make can help us shine bright and make a positive impact!

Our 4K Cubs in Ms. Wilson’s Class wrapped up their study of healthy foods in the sweetest way possible…making their very own Stone Soup!!!!🥣💙

Every student got to help add ingredients and they loved getting to enjoy their delicious soup together at snack time!

What a fun way to learn, work together, and try something new! 🥕🍲🐾

We are SO proud of Jimena, Jayce, and Janet for being nominated to represent Clearwater Elementary on the Superintendent’s Advisory Council! 🎉

Yesterday, our Clearwater Cubs had the exciting opportunity to meet with our superintendent, share their ideas, and answer his questions! We are so proud to see our students taking on leadership opportunities, using their voices, and helping make a difference in our school community.

Help us congratulate Jimena, Jayce, and Janet on this exciting opportunity! We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see the impact you make as our Clearwater representatives! 🐾💙🤍

💙🤍1st Grade Cubs Out-of-This-World Learning Experience 💙🤍

Our first grade students had an exciting day at the Ruth Patrick Science Education Center last Friday!

During their visit, our Cubs participated in three engaging learning sessions: Sound-sational, Exploring Animal Senses, and One World One Sky! They even got to explore the wonders of space with a visit to the DuPont Planetarium! 🪐🌟

From discovering how we experience the world around us to exploring the stars above, our Cubs had so many opportunities to learn, explore, and let their curiosity shine! We love seeing our students make meaningful connections and discover that learning can happen in so many exciting ways. Way to go, Cubs! 💙🐾
