Today we as a nation collectively honor and commemorate all of those in the armed forces who have given their life over the years to protect our freedom. Let us join together in remembrance for the fallen and give thanks to the living carrying on their legacy each and every day.

Today we honor and commemorate our nation's fallen officers via the Annual Candlelight Vigil as part of National Police Week 2020.

In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation which designated May 15th as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week in which that date falls as Police Week.
This year unfortunately due to the current state of the COVID-19 outbreak means we cannot gather in person to show our support but we as a nation will stand together and honor these heroes for all that they put on the line each and every day.
The NLEOMF will be holding the annual Candlelight Vigil online via streaming on Wednesday, May 13th to commemorate the brave men and women who gave their lives for our country.
