Mayor Saleh led and voted to displace families in the City of Bell, siding with callers saying that mobile homes were trashy. He is in the real estate business. Yet in this recent interview he says Metro should not be in business of demolishing homes and displacing residents. Last night that's what he did. He will say anything to get elected. Stand with us for Good Government and transparency. He was never transparent and doesn't share the gavel with council. That makes him like Trumpo.

Yes. People do this. Criminals.
Officials finally found a case of a dead person voting, accusing a Republican of pretending to be his dead mom to vote for Trump Bruce Bartman pretended to be his dead mom to cast a ballot for President Donald Trump, who lost the state anyway, prosecutors said.

Dear friends and family,
What a campaign! Because of your support we got our message out to 4200 households, reasons to vote for qualified candidates, and we had our opponents working harder than ever. They did not expect that the election became "integrity vs underhandedness". They resorted to giving empty promises and deal-cutting that you should never make when running for public office. They violated public trust. They bullied older citizens inside the voting centers. They got caught on camera taking down our hard earned signs. On council business, they got caught holding damning public records until the day before elections. This is why I am concerned for our local government, and ran.
I received a call earlier today lamenting that my letter to the community as part of my campaign was received on Monday, and a little too late. They thought the mail service was being hijacked. But, I told them "no". I just did not have the funds to begin with. Yet, those who contributed were so generous. Many things are down to timing, and funds.
I did the best I could and made tough decisions to get the word out. Still, I now incurred a substantial campaign debt because it was just that important to me, planning that at least people would hold them accountable no matter the voting results. In doing so, the tree of truth was planted like all the trees we planted for "Chuck Standing" on Bell Avenue.
I am down 52 votes at the time I write to you. There are no regrets just lessons in finding and touching 53 more doors. Last night after the polls closed, I thanked many supporters. I especially thanked my eldest daughter Sarah in attendance. She has been with me fighting for good government and tansparency since she was four. Thank you very much to all of you. We keep looking forward and we don't end our commitment to the Bell Resident Club's mission and promise; Community First!
Yours very truly,
Nestor Enrique Valencia

About Me:
Council Member Nestor Enrique Valencia was born in Cihuatlán, Jalisco, Mexico. Through hard work and perseverance, his parents were able to bring their children to live with them, first to the City of Compton, then deciding to raise their family in the fine City of Bell. His father worked in the same factory until his retirement, and his mother worked at home raising five children. They instilled the foundation for education, hard work, honesty, a spiritual life, and above all, public community service.
Raised in Bell, Council Member, and former Mayor, Valencia has attended all the local public schools in the area and graduated from Bell Senior High School. He attended San Jose State University and earned a Baccalaureate of Science in Health Science with an emphasis in Health Care Management which has afforded him the opportunity to become an industry leader. He is currently employed with a large hospital operator in the City of Los Angeles. Mr. Valencia has owned his own consulting services business for several years specializing in managed care, administration, government affairs, communications, regulatory compliance, corporate and legislative communications, and contracting. Through his constant need to improve himself, he has attended various post graduate courses. These courses include the Harvard-Kennedy School of Executive Leadership, a course in Leadership, Action and Organizing, the University of Southern California, School of Public Policy, and a Municipal Management course from State of Utah University.
In March of 2011, Council Member Valencia was elected to the City of Bell Council after a very difficult period for the City. He was selected Mayor by his fellow council members in 2014, and then re-elected in 2015. He sat and served on various appointed regional government committees, Boards and districts:
