Last week, before sunrise, NBHC Belle Chasse Sailors joined the NAS JRB New Orleans community in a 9/11 Rememberance 5K marking the 25th Anniversary of September 11, 2001.

Along the route, participants stopped at key locations across the installation, including the base fire station, where they relfected on the first repsonders who ran toward danger that day. The event concluded with morning colors, a reminder that 25 years later, we continue to remember and honor those who served, sacrificed and were lost.

We are monitoring tropical depression TWO.

If you need refills please get them filled and picked up to ensure you have your medications in the event the storm strengthens.

As of now, base medical is operating, business as usual.

Check back frequently for any updates.
