BPD Facility Dog Tater & Ofc. Hobbs

We had the pleasure of hosting a great group of young men and women from Bellevue West at the department this afternoon. It was a fantastic visit filled with thoughtful questions and great conversations about what we do and how we serve the community.

Of course, one of the highlights of the afternoon was BPD Facility Dog Tater & Ofc. Hobbs, who was extremely thankful for all the ear scratches and attention. 🐾

Thank you for taking the time to come visit us today. We truly appreciate the opportunity to connect and share a little about what we do!

Today, we got to go with Henry the Wonder Dog and BPD Pawfficer Mo to visit our friends at the Eastern Nebraska Veterans Home. Our mission: spread smiles, collect pets, and remind our veterans how much they’re appreciated.

I’m happy to report the mission was a success lots of tail wags, belly rubs, and smiles all around. Thank you to our amazing veterans for your service and for making our day so special. 🇺🇸

It’s been a busy week for Tater and me, and another great adventure! We were honored to receive a merit scholarship to attend the Threat Assessment Conference in Orlando. And really… can you go to Orlando without visiting the most magical place on earth? ✨

We were also given the privilege of speaking at the Bellevue East JROTC Military Ball, which was truly an honor.

Tomorrow will be a much-needed day of rest before another busy week begins. Grateful for the opportunities and the moments along the way. 💙

I'm torn between taking offense or just rolling with it. Just left a meeting at Bellevue East and a student burst out laughing. I asked what was so hilarious and she said every time she sees me, I'm the spitting image of the cop from 'Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs'. Okay, I’m not seeing it. Apparently, BPD Ofc.
