**UPDATE hours of position are the following:

The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM excluding holidays. On occasion, the position will require working overtime at special events outside of the normal work schedule and being called back in to the police department if needed.

📦 NOW HIRING: Property and Evidence Technician
Behind every investigation is someone ensuring that evidence is properly received, secured, documented and maintained. The Bellevue Police Department is accepting applications for a full-time, non-sworn Property and Evidence Technician.
This position plays an important role in:
🔹 Maintaining the chain of custody for physical and digital evidence
🔹 Managing inventory, audits and secure evidence storage
🔹 Supporting digital evidence and records requests
🔹 Releasing property and completing legal dispositions
🔹 Assisting the public with property inquiries and fingerprinting
💰 Hourly pay: $25.38–$34.52
🎓 High school diploma or GED required
🚔 No previous law-enforcement experience required

🚔 Today, we officially welcomed 5 new Entry-Level Police Officers to the Bellevue Police Department!

This afternoon, we had the opportunity to host our New Employee Family Event, bringing together our newest officers and the family members who support them every step of the way.
