Looking for a creative way to spend Halloween? Join us at Kelsey Creek Farm from 1–2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 31st for our new Intro to Needle Felting class! 🎃 We need a few more helping hands at Trick-or-Treat with the Farm Animals!

This annual event is coming up and we could use a few more volunteers to help make it a fun and memorable experience for our community!

Volunteers help run activity stations, welcome families, and keep the Halloween fun going throughout the farm. No farm experience is needed, just a willingness to help and a little Halloween spirit!

Explore real farm life, learn about local history and see barnyard animals up close at Kelsey Creek Farm. This event has been a favorite Bellevue tradition for more than 40 years.

Shaun is our most adventurous sheep and also one of the smartest. He knows that he can push double gates open if we’ve forgotten to tie an extra rope around them. Whenever we forget the rope, Shaun notices, opens the gate, and heads off to the nearest patch of grass for a little extracurricular snacking!

Who on the farm eats grain? Everybody! Grains such as wheat, oats, barley, rye, and corn are some of the biggest ingredients in most animal feeds.

Pictured: On the left is pig grain, made predominantly of corn, wheat, and soybeans. On the right is a grain called COB that we feed to the sheep. It’s made of corn, oats, barley, and mixed with molasses.
