From the Bellevue Community Foundation:

We’ve just learned that Whiskey Friends will be performing an extended set tonight, featuring not only the biggest hits from Morgan Wallen but also a variety of popular country and rock favorites from other well-known artists. While we're disappointed that the Michael and Janet Jackson tribute show had to cancel due to a medical emergency, Whiskey Friends is stepping up to help ensure a full evening of live entertainment. We look forward to seeing everyone at Bellevue Rocks tonight!

Disappointed to hear this but there will be music on the main stage from 7 pm to at least 10pm thanks to Whiskey Friends - agreeing to do an extended set.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Unfortunately, we have just received word that the Michael & Janet Jackson Tribute Band, which was scheduled to perform at Bellevue Rocks! tonight, has canceled due to a medical emergency. While we are disappointed by this unexpected news, our team is already working hard to adjust the evening's entertainment schedule. We currently anticipate having live music on the main stage beginning at 7pm, followed by a full performance from Whiskey Friends - The Morgan Wallen Experience.

The good news is that the carnival, beer garden, food vendors, and all other Bellevue Rocks activities will continue as planned. There will still be plenty of cold drinks, family fun, and live entertainment to enjoy throughout the evening. We know many people were looking forward to tonight's tribute performance, and we share your disapointment. However, Bellevue Rocks! has always been about coming together as a community, making the best of every situation, and creating a memorable experience for our guests. We are confident, that tonight will still be a fantasic evening.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and continued support of Bellevue Rocks! We will provide additional updates as they become available. We hope to see you tonight.

If you have traveled near American Heroes Park you can definitely tell that Bellevue Rocks Riverfront Festival is right around the corner. The park looks fantastic, the carnival rides are starting to move in, and excitement is building for what promises to be an incredible weekend along the Bellevue riverfront.

On behalf of the dedicated volunteers of the Bellevue Community Foundation, I'd like to invite everyone in Bellevue and our surrounding communities to join us for one or more days of family-friendly fun, live music, carnival rides, great food, and community celebration.

Thursday, June 4 – USA 250 Celebration Night:
We'll kick off the festival by celebrating America's 250th birthday with an evening dedicated to honoring our nation and the Bellevue-Offutt community. The Jimmy Weber Band will get things started before the USAF Heartland of America Band's Raptor takes the stage with an energetic performance. The evening will conclude with a spectacular USA 250 Fireworks Show presented by our friends at Bellino Fireworks.

A special thank you to the Offutt Advisory Council, which has arranged for more than 1,000 free carnival ride tickets for the children of our military heroes on Thursday night.

Friday, June 5 – Rock the Riverfront:
Friday night features two outstanding regional bands. Omaha favorite ENVY will open the evening with a mix of classic and modern hits, followed by Iowa's Not Quite Brothers, a high-energy band that always gets the crowd involved. I've seen both groups perform recently and can honestly say they put on fantastic shows. If you love live music, Friday night is one you won't want to miss.

Saturday, June 6 – A Night of Tribute Favorites:
Saturday brings two nationally recognized tribute acts to the Bellevue stage. **Please note the performance time change to accommodate schedules.**

The evening begins around 7:00 p.m. with The Ultimate Michael & Janet Jackson Experience, featuring incredible music, dancers, costumes, and all the hits that defined a generation.

Then at 9:00 p.m., Bellevue goes country as Whiskey Friends: The Morgan Wallen Experience takes the stage. This Chicago-based tribute band performs arena-style shows across the country and delivers all of Morgan Wallen's biggest hits and fan favorites.

Three nights of outstanding FREE live music right here in Bellevue. You may need to clear some space on your calendar!

Carnival Fun All Weekend:
The Heart of America Shows Carnival will operate throughout the festival with rides and games for all ages. Sunday, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., is Discount Carnival Fun Day, making it a great opportunity for families to enjoy the final day of the festival.

Bellevue Farmers Market Season is Underway!

After a rainy start to the morning, the clouds cleared, the sun came out, and large crowds filled Washington Park in Olde Towne Bellevue for the opening day of the 2026 Bellevue Farmers Market season.

Vendors lined all four sides of the park, offering fresh produce, handcrafted goods, delicious food, baked treats, and all the local favorites that make the Bellevue Farmers Market a community tradition.

If you haven't made it part of your weekend routine yet, now is the time! The Bellevue Farmers Market is open every Saturday through mid-September at Washington Park from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. It's a great way to support local businesses, connect with neighbors, and enjoy everything our community has to offer.

A special thank you to Market Managers Matthew and Sarah Milligan for their dedication and hard work, as well as the many sponsors, volunteers, vendors, and supporters who help bring this outstanding market to the Bellevue community each year.

We look forward to seeing everyone Saturday mornings in Olde Towne Bellevue!

The City of Bellevue would like to extend a big thank you to Lindsay McPhaul from Medica Health Plans and her sons, Elijah and Bryson, for spending part of their first day of summer break giving back to the community.

They joined a small group of city employees this morning to help remove the flags from the Bellevue Cemetery following the Memorial Day display.

We appreciate their willingness to volunteer their time and help preserve this meaningful tradition.

Nebraska Community Blood Bank (NCBB) has officially declared a blood emergency as supplies have dropped to less than a two-day supply overall and under one day for Type O blood — the most critical blood type used in emergency situations.

This shortage comes at the start of summer “trauma season,” when hospitals typically experience an increase in serious injuries and emergencies requiring large amounts of blood.

Blood cannot be manufactured and has a very limited shelf life, which means local hospitals rely on everyday donors to help save lives.

Bellevue residents have an opportunity to help this week!
