All of our classes are starting in the next week! Foxes, our two year olds, start tomorrow, preschool (Bears and Dinos) starts on Wednesday, STEM classes on Saturday, and Bunnies (1 year olds) next Monday. We are so excited!
If you are enrolled, you should have received multiple emails from us over the past few weeks. But, we've learned lots of our messages have been sent to junk mail. So.... if you're in a class and you haven't heard from us, reach out to us! Email TeacherJanelle @ outlook.com to connect.

At Eastgate, we offer classes for ages 1 - 8. If you have a baby under 1 year old, be sure to check out the Wobblers class at our sister co-op in Issaquah!

New offering at ICP - the “wobblers” infant class! Babies can grow, explore, and build their first relationships in a supportive community. Parents participate alongside their children, creating meaningful connections with both their child and fellow co-op families.

When: Thursdays 1-2:30pm beginning 10/1

Where: Issaquah Cooperative Preschool, 325 SE Darst Street, Issaquah

Who: Infants born after August 31, 2025 and their caregiver

We have just opened enrollment for our Bunnies Toddler Class! The new weekly class is for 1-2 year old's and their caregiver(s) and will be on Mondays starting in September from 10 am -12 pm. Check it out on our website!

ECP offers Parent and Child Toddler Classes, which run from September through May and are organized into three 11 week quarters. A parent (or other caregiver) attends with the child. Toddler 1 or "Bunnies" is for children who are 12 - 24 months on August 31. It meets on Monday mornings. Toddler 2

We can’t believe the school year is coming to a close! We will miss all our friends so much but look forward to many play dates this summer and seeing many familiar faces returning for the next school year. Friday is our preschool graduation, a chance for every student to celebrate their completion of a year of learning and fun. Thank you to every parent and teacher who worked together to make this year an incredible success despite budget cuts that threatened to close our doors. Words cannot express our gratitude to our Board Members and Board Chair, Claire, for all their tireless work in securing our school’s non-profit status for another year of community, play, and learning. plays an invaluable role in bringing like-minded parents together on the east side - may we do so for many more decades to come!

Bellevue College will be closing their parent education program at the end of spring quarter. (Some of our co-ops, including Eastgate are planning to continue forward! But many programs will be lost.) Shoreline, North Seattle, Bates, and Whatcom Community Colleges have also announced intention to close their programs. You can help to advocate to keep programs like ours going statewide. Learn more in this article from KUOW. You can contact your state legislators to advocate for these programs or see the link to a petition in the comments.

Community and technical colleges statewide are trying to maintain their cooperative preschools, where parents work and learn alongside their children, once major rule changes by the State Board of Community and Technical Colleges take effect in July.

Here at we are a family. Thank you to everyone who came out for our second winter hike of the year! We had a blast hiking the woods in our neighborhood where we gathered nature treasures for an art project and enjoyed a snack all together by a beautiful stream. Our little community is all about building strong families through the gathering and fostering of relationships between caregivers, students and teachers alike. We are stronger together!
