Are you a frequent visitor at Lake Padden Park?

Please remember there are specific parking rules for the trailer lot (Wilkin St.) which restricts the parking to vehicles with horse trailers only from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

The same parking rules apply to a small section of the Galbraith lot (Samish Way).

Park staff recently installed new signage to help eliminate any confusion.

Equestrians often drive larger vehicles and trailers which require additional space and turning radius. The Lake Padden Loop Trail and associated natural surface trails are open to hikers, bicyclists, and equestrians.

Construction is underway to improve safety at key crossings, bike corridors, and walking routes at more than a dozen locations across Bellingham. New flashing beacons, upgraded curb ramps, and other safety improvements will make it safer, more comfortable, and more predictable for everyone.
