(1)

Learning that your child has a developmental delay, disability, or chronic health need can be a traumatic experience. Parents have many questions and concerns in coping with their child's needs and their own feelings. Personal support from another parent, who has a child with similar needs, can be helpful in coping with these challenging experiences and feelings. “Helping Parents” (volunteer mentors) are available to provide support and information.

This October, we are proud to stand with the Spina Bifida community! 💛💙

At Parent to Parent USA (P2P USA), we understand the unique challenges and joys that come with raising a child with Spina Bifida. It is a lifelong journey, but you don't have to walk it alone.

Our network connects you with other parents who have walked a similar path. Whether you are seeking support, resources, or someone who truly understands, P2P USA is here for you.

Join us in supporting our community.
Let’s raise awareness, foster understanding, and celebrate the incredible resilience of individuals with Spina Bifida.

Toothbrushing doesn’t always come easy. That’s where research comes in.
The UW Autism Center is participating in Brush Up, a research study looking at ways to support toothbrushing for autistic children. If toothbrushing is a daily challenge in your home, this study may be worth exploring.
