Alright, break’s over. I’ve been MIA on social media all summer, but we’re gearing up for fall and winter over here. So we’re back at it!

Thought I’d start highlighting some of the cool skis we received in donations over the summer. Check out this cool trio - once they make their way into a ski chair, a portion of the proceeds will go to Cannonsburg Ski Patrol!

Any chair can mix and match skis, but these three look pretty good together, don’t you think?

NSP’s new Annual Outdoor Emergency Care Refresher is now live, marking an important step in how patrollers maintain the emergency care skills they rely on in the field.

The updated refresher strengthens annual training through in-depth content, hands-on skills practice, and elective learning tied to core competencies. It helps ensure patrollers stay current, prepared, and ready to respond in the dynamic outdoor environments where they serve.

❤️🫶🏽🩺

This National EMS Week, NSP recognizes the vital work of our Outdoor Emergency Care providers, EMTs, paramedics, and emergency medical professionals who deliver lifesaving care across the country.

These providers undertake rigorous training programs, which prepares them to assess injuries, provide emergency care, and respond effectively in challenging outdoor environments.

We extend a special thank you to the NSP patrollers who bring medical training, field experience, and calm decision-making to the mountain. Their work strengthens patrol teams and helps keep skiers, riders, and outdoor communities safe.

As harsh winter weather is creating ideal conditions at ski slopes across West Michigan, experts are reminding winter athletes that January is Winter Sports Brain Injury Awareness month.

January is National Ski Safety Awareness Month! For National Ski Patrol, safety is more than a month-long theme—it is our daily mission.

As we kick off this time of recognition, we remind everyone that the "Responsibility Code" is the foundation of a great day on the snow. Whether you are a first-timer or a seasoned expert, following the rules helps reduce collisions, prevent injuries, and keep the stoke high.

Read more about how you can practice responsible skiing by visiting the Safety page on the NSP website. https://www.nsp.org/Web/NSPWebsite/Navigation/Explore/Safety-PSA.aspx
