Join us at the Library tonight at 7pm for the final Belmont VT showing of Manhattan Short Film Festival . Vote for your favorite film and the best actor. Your vote will join votes from the worldwide audience who attended at one of the 500+ venues! The winners will be announced shortly after the closing of the festival. There is no admission fee but a good will donation allow us to continue Library events like this.

Thursday 9/24 is the first showing of the Manhattan Short Film Festival at the library 7pm. Many of the films go onto the Oscars. "I'm not a Robot" by Victoria Warmerdam and "The Man Who Could Not Remain Silent" by Nebojsa Slijepcevic were nominated for the 2025 Oscars Short Films. Did you vote last year for either one?

Join us at the Library on Saturday August 22nd 7pm for the film "Lars and the Real Girl." A dramatic comedy of family, community, and love starring Ryan Gosling. These cooler nights make us think about The 2026 Manhattan Short Film Festival. The Library is one of 4 Vermont venues https://www.manhattanshort.com/screening-venues.html .
