Beloit Meals On Wheels, Inc. Volunteers provide the foundation of this program. Additionally, the daily safety check is an intagible benefit of the program which remains "priceless."

Beloit Meals on Wheels delivers nutritious meals and compassionate support to homebound seniors in the Greater Beloit area, honoring their dignity, independence, and belonging. Our "special delivery teams" venture out in all kinds of weather to deliver not only good nutrition, but caring and compassion. For many clients, the only social contact they might have each day is that Meals On Wheels volunteer.

For a homebound senior, a meal delivery means more than food . . . it’s a caring check-in and a reminder that someone cares. πŸ’›

Last year, generous donors and 589 volunteers helped us deliver nearly 60,000 meals to 283 older neighbors. Today, rising costs and the loss of critical funding put that lifeline at risk. πŸ’›

We need serious help to keep nutritious meals and caring visits reaching Beloit seniors who count on us like Martha! πŸ’›

πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’› Please consider buying a meal for Martha at: https://beloitmealsonwheels.org/buy-a-meal/

Today kicks off National Estate Planning Awareness Weekβ€”a reminder that planning ahead is an act of love.

Estate planning is a way to care for the people who mean everything to you and honor the causes closest to your heart. It brings peace of mind, knowing the love and kindness you’ve shared throughout your life can continue to make a difference.

Including Beloit Meals on Wheels in your estate plans helps extend that kindness to future generations of senior neighborsβ€”through nourishing meals, friendly visits, and the support they need to grow older with dignity in the place they call home.

While global hunger remains a serious challenge, food insecurity is also happening right here in Beloit. Many people assume there is little they can do to help, but actually there are many ways you can help and some are little to no cost!

Now is your chance to make a difference right here at home. A donation or picking up a volunteer delivery route helps ensure your homebound older neighbors know their next meal is on the way.

Your support helps provide nourishing meals and relief to caregivers like Bob when they have nowhere else to turn.

Please consider buying a meal for Bob and his wife at: https://beloitmealsonwheels.org/support-mow/
