One of the greatest things about living and working in a small town is the support of everyone especially when great things happen!

The Belpre Police Department along with the Belpre Fire Department and City of Belpre EMS was proud to es**rt the Belpre Marching Band back into the city at Midnight after their stellar performances at both Zanesville and Athens and brought home First Place in Class C along with a Superior rating! This qualfies them for the State Finals for the 6th straight year! For anyone that awoke to some sirens, horns and yelling at midnight, thats just a sign that the youth of the city is very strong and determined on working toward their goals and achieving them! Congratulations Belpre Marching Band and thank you to everyone that helps the youth of the city achieve their goals! Keep up the great work!

There are a couple sergeants with the Belpre Police Department with recent work anniversaires that we would like to give appreciation for.

This past June, Sgt.Fields has served 34 years at the Belpre Police Department!

This past July, Sgt. Campbell has served 11 years with the Belpre Police Department.

To have committed and experienced officers in supervisor roles help shape the future generations of officers at the Belpre Police Department. They are able to share their knowledge and experiences to the newer and less experienced officers. Both Sgt.Fields and Sgt.Campbell are great examples of that. Their dedication to service and showing up day and/or night for years of service are greatly appreciated!

Thank you Sgt.Fields and Sgt.Campbell!
