Please call the Blacklick Township Police Department if you have any information. Thank you!!

We are requesting the community assistance in a public safety matter.

There is an issue with a person or group of people that are tampering with fire hydrants in a portion of Blacklick Township (Cambria County). The individual(s) are stealing the three caps and partially engaging the fire hydrants. The tampering will severely impact the use of those fire hydrants in an emergency and possibly delay water to a fire scene.

We ask that you please keep an eye on any fire hydrants and report any tampering/damage to the Blacklick Township Police Department at 814-749-3372.

The action of this individual(s) is also depleting available water supply that is used during suppression operations. Please also contact the Blacklick Township Police Department if you know who is responsible for the tampering.
